RESCUE DIVER!

What is a Rescue Diver?

Good question, Is a rescue diver a lifeguard? Do they stand by watching other people dive? The answer in short is yes....and no. Rescue divers are advanced divers that have received training to learn how to deal with aquatic emergencies and how to deal with divers in distress. They respond as needed and act as safety divers. They understand that the best way to handle an emergency is to prevent an accident before it happens.

Rescue divers are not yet in the "professional" level of PADI divers but you are well on your way. It takes commitment to get through this course and the perfect specialty class to compliment the Rescue Diver course is the PADI CPR/Emergency First Response class!
