Continuing Professional Education!

Becoming a PADI Divemaster is your first stop on the way to Instructor. You are now considered a professional. Your diving changes in the sense that you are now responsible for others when acting as a Divemaster in a class, on a boat, in a lake or quarry. You need to get all the gear together and make sure it works, plan the dive for the day and make sure everyone gets in and out of the water. When giving tours, you watch to make sure that your divers are following your dive plan.

What can I do?

• Take the Divemaster and Assistant Instructor courses to further your diving knowledge
• Take the EAN specialty and learn about NITROX
• Take an Underwater Navigation class to hone your dive skills!

What good are advanced classes?

1. You gain more knowledge and become a safer diver
2. You can becomea better dive buddy who is more dependable
3. You can help teach others and pass on your knowledge
