Welcome to Scuba Training!

30 years of experience stands for something!

Wether you are just beginning as an openwater diver or you're contemplating becoming a Divemaster, We can train you the right way at your own pace.

Guess who else scuba dives!
“I learned to scuba dive in a pool. It wasn’t until I moved to California that I ever even scuba dived in the ocean. But I just loved it. I loved this idea that there was this alien atmosphere right here on planet earth. I knew that I was never going to be an astronaut and visit another star system or land on another planet, but I knew I could explore an alien world right here.”

- James Cameron - Director of Ttanic & Avatar

Are You Affilliated With A Dive Center?

Yes we are. As of June of 2010 Long Island Scuba Training is now teaching scuba classes, both basic and advanced out of Seascapes USA located at 295 Robbins Lane, Syosset, New York 11791. We encourage you to come to Seascapes USA to see the shop, the indoor heated training pool and classroom. We have a great selection of scuba gear for every level of diving!

Handicapped Divers?

Just because you are handicapped, in a wheel chair or use crutches to walk, you have no reason to not enjoy scuba. Call and speak to a staff member about our handicapped diver program. It's for adults and kids 10 years old and above. Also check out the IAHD link on the upper left side of the page to see more about the Handicapped Diver initiative.

Private Scuba Lessons

Are they really better?

Are private scuba lessons better than large classes? Well, if you were learning to drive a car, would you want a group of people in the car or would you feel more calm with just you and your instructor? Do you want to learn at your pace or someone else's? Private and semi-private classes allow your instructor the flexibility to mold the class to fit you. You of course are the only person who can decide what is best for you! Why not give us a call and discuss the possibuilities or send us an email and a staff member witll contact you to any questions you may have.
